Warehouse gutted in Ctg
Plum and tamarind worth Tk 2 lakh were gutted in a fire at a warehouse at Asadganj in the port city early hours of yesterday.
Prohlad Singha, a staffer of Agrabad Fire Control Room, said the fire broke out at the storehouse of Nazrul Rashid at around 1:15am in the area under Kotwali Police Station.
Two fire fighting units of Chandanpura Fire Station doused the flame at around 2:00am.
