Two stolen laptops recovered: 4 held
Police recovered two stolen laptops and Tk 3.42 lakh and arrested four alleged burglars in these connections early Monday and yesterday.
The arrestees were Nur Nabi, 25, Mohammed Mizan, 18, Mohammed Khokan, 32, and Mohammed Yunus, 28.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Nabi from Chandgaon area in the port city on Monday and seized Tk 2.44 lakh and a stolen laptop from his possession, said Khulshi Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Shafiqul Islam.
Based on his information, the police arrested Mizan from Chandpur and Khokan and Yunus from Comilla in separate drives early Monday and yesterday, said the SI adding that the another laptop and Tk 98,000 were seized from Yunus.
On February 11, a gang of burglars stole Tk 8.75 lakh and two laptops from an apartment of Imperial Hills in Khulshi area.
