Strike at Sust postponed
The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) called off their indefinite strike at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (Sust) after a meeting with the university authorities on Monday.
The strike was halted for 10 working days from yesterday.
Sust Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Saleh uddin convened the meeting, in which the authorities assured of taking immediate measures to meet the JCD's demands and ensuring peaceful atmosphere on the campus, said the university unit JCD Convener SM Jahangir.
