Ctg students take part in quiz

Some 250 students of Presidency International School in Chittagong took part in a quiz and an essay writing contest on the heritage, history, culture and potential of Chittagong yesterday. The competition was organised as an extension of The Daily Star's 12-day “Odommo Chattagram” festival which ended on April 10. Five students were adjudged winners after answering 20 questions on various aspects of Chittagong while another five were awarded in the writing competition on the theme “Our Green City Chittagong”. After giving away the prizes, the school's Principal Lt Col (retd) Mohammad Ziauddin thanked The Daily Star and said, “Students should read newspapers regularly to learn more about the country and the world.”
