Scalper held at Ctg Railway Station
A scalper was arrested from Chittagong Railway Station premises on Sunday night.
The arrestee is Mohammed Jahid, 24, hailing from Ramu upazilla and worked as a mechanic at Reaz Uddin Bazar in the port city.
Disguised as passengers, a vigilance team of railway officials conducted a drive on the station premises and nabbed the scalper, said sources in Chittagong Railway Station.
“We held Jahid with a ticket and handed him over to Government Railway Police (GRP),” said Divisional Commercial Officer of Bangladesh Railway (BR) East Zone Md Rokanuzzaman, adding that Jahid used to collect ticket through mobile ticketing system.
