'Speed up war crimes trial'
The speakers at a meeting urged the government to expedite the war crimes trial to make country free from fundamentalism.
They made the call while addressing a reminiscence meeting marking the 83rd birth anniversary of Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam here on Thursday afternoon.
Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, the district unit organised the meeting and a recitation programme at its divisional office.
Sawkat Bangalee presided over the programme while Mili Chowdhury, Anchan Chowdhury and Ranjit Rakkhit recited poems and delivered speeches in memory of the great woman.
