SSC results today
The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations held under 10 educational boards will be published simultaneously today across the country.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:00am, said an official statement.
The premier will announce the results of Barisal Zilla School, Barisal Government Girls High School and Barisal Vocational School and College through video conferencing in the presence of officials of education ministry and boards.
Examinees elsewhere can get their results from their respective centres, websites of their respective boards or from mobile phones through sending short message service (sms) from 2:30pm.
The education minister will formally announce the results through a press briefing at the secretariat around 1:00pm.
The SSC and its equivalent Dakhil and SSC (vocational) results will also be available in the website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.
Around 14.20 lakh examinees from 26,855 educational institutions took part in this year's examinations under the 10 boards. Of them, some 10.52 lakh sat for the examination in eight general education boards.
Besides, a total of 274 students took the exams from seven overseas centres.
Examinations of 21 papers were held in creative question method. Examinations of Bangla 2nd Paper, English 1st and 2nd Paper, and Mathematics were not held in creative question system.
The exams began on February 1 and ended on March 15.
