Worker dies in iron pipe fall
A construction worker died as an iron pipe fell on his head at an under-construction building at Mirsarai upazila in Chittagong yesterday noon.
The deceased was Aminul Islam, 30, hailing from Homna in Comilla.
Police said the iron pipe fell on Aminul's head while he was working at the building adjacent to Rangdhanu Petrol Pump in the upazila at around 12:30pm.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
