RU crop science dept now on main campus
Students of crop science and technology department of Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday called off their agitation as the authorities met their demand to shift the department to the main campus from Narikelbaria.
Students withdrew their agitation programmes after receiving written permission of the university authorities, said a student of the department.
The students had been raising the demand due to transport problem and lack of general facilities as the department was 16 kilometres off the main campus.
