Publication ceremony of a book “Muktijuddher Bamdhara” written by Mridul Guho was held at Chittagong Press Club in the port city yesterday evening. The book focused on the contribution of left leaning political parties to the Liberation War. Leftist leader Syed Jalal Uddin Ahmed presided over the function. Former prime minister Kazi Zafar Ahmad was present as the chief guest while columnist Haider Akbar Khan Rono and BNP leader Abdullah Al Noman were present as special guests. Principal Mohammed Hossain Khan, Abdul Hai, Osman Goni, Syed Nurul Huda, Delwar Hossain Chowdhury, Ibrahim Hossain Chowdhury Babul, Ashok Das, Shah Alam, Abul Hashem, Yakub Hossain, Abdur Sobur, farmer leader Bodiul Alam, Advocate Kobir Chowdhury, former lawmaker Majharul Haque Shah, lawmaker Morshed Mahjabin, among others, also spoke.
