Man 'commits suicide'
A man allegedly committed suicide in the port city on Saturday night.
The deceased Wasim Uddin, 22, hailing from Maheshkhali upazila, worked as an assistant at Ideal Lab at GEC Circle in the city.
Police recovered the body hanging from the ceiling with a rope in his bedroom, said Kotwali Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Sakhawat Hossain.
Quoting the deceased's colleague Parvin, the SI said Wasim had a love affair with a lady Shakila. He might commit suicide as their relation was not good for few days.
