Khaleda goes to KSA for medical check-up

Khaleda Zia will leave the capital for Saudi Arabia today for a medical check-up. The former premier will be residing at the Royal Palace as the guest of the Saudi King and will undergo treatment at King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Royal Hospital in Riyadh. She will also perform Umrah and offer Ziarat at holy Raoza Mobarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM). The BNP chairperson is expected to hold a meeting with top officials of the Saudi government, said chairperson's Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel. Khaleda's Adviser Riaz Rahman and party's Vice Chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury along with her personal staff will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport tonight. She is likely to return after one week, said Kamal.
