Sayedee gets parole for son's namaz-e-janaza

Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee was released on parole yesterday evening to attend the namaz-e-janaza of his eldest son in the capital's Motijheel. Sayedee was released at around 5:45pm and reached Motijheel Boys' High School at around 6:15pm, said Deputy Commissioner Anwar Hossain of Motijheel Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. He attended the namaz-e-janaza of his son, Rafique Bin Sayedee, offered Maghrib prayers there and left for Dhaka Central Jail at around 7:05pm, he said. Rafique, 43, died of a cardiac arrest after falling sick while witnessing his father's trial at International Crimes Tribunal-1 on Wednesday and was declared dead at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the capital.
