14 killed in road accidents
Fourteen people were killed and three others injured in road accidents in Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Rangpur and Natore on Tuesday and yesterday.

In an accident, a truck rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Hatikumrul Intersection around 7:15am.
Two of the deceased were auto-rickshaw driver Badsha Miah, 25, and its passenger Arman Ali, 32.

The victims were Md Munna, 6, son of Dudu Mia of Ayra village in Birampur upazila, and Atiar Rahman 35, of Kasigari village in Ghoraghat upazila.

In an incident, truck driver Ismail Hossain, 40, was killed when a Bogra bound truck hit his halted truck on Rangpur-Dhaka highway in Modern Intersection area in Rangpur town on Tuesday night. Three day-labourers were also injured in the incident.

UNB reports from Natore, a freedom fighter was killed in a road accident at Agran Bazar in Baraigram upazila yesterday.
The victim Matiur Rahman, 60, was killed as a speedy bus hit him when he was crossing the road.
