1,566 Yaba tablets seized, three arrested
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested three alleged drug peddlers and seized 1,566 pieces of Yaba tablets worth around Tk 6.26 lakh from their possession in Cox's Bazar on Saturday night.
The arrestees are Mohammed Abdullah, 25, Mohammed Younus, 25, and Mohammed Jobair, 21, hailing from Muktarkul area.
Acting on a tip-off, the Rab team conducted a drive at Muktarkul Bridge and found the tablets after searching the trio's bodies while the three were waiting there to sell the tablets, said a press release.
A case was filed with Cox's Bazar Police Station.
