Woman's body recovered in Ctg
Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) recovered the decomposed body of an unidentified woman from Halishahar area under Bandar Police Station in Chittagong city yesterday.
Being informed by the locals, Bandar police recovered the body of the woman, aged around 25, from a pond near Raja-Badsha Brick field around 1:00pm.
Police said the body, tied with a sack, was floating in water.
"The body did not bear any mark of injuries but was found almost in a decomposed state as police suspect she might have been killed eight to 10 days ago," the police added.
Police sent the body to morgue for autopsy and a case was filed in this connection.
