Man dies after run over by train
A man was crushed under the wheels of a train on Chuadanga-Goalando route in Kalidaspara rail crossing area of Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga district on Thursday.
The deceased identified as Amirul Islam Binju, 20, son of Ainal Hossain of Kalidaspara in Alamdanga of the district, was a garment trader.
Locals said a Goalando-bound train ran over him while he was crossing the railway tracks, leaving him dead on the spot at about 3:30pm.
