Body of drowned boy recovered
The body of a 12-year-old boy, who drowned on Saturday in a canal in Fatikchhari upazila under Chittagong, was recovered yesterday.
Assistant Sub-Inspector of Fatikchari Police Station Majedul Islam said divers of fire service and locals conducted a search operation on Saturday but they failed to recover the body.
The body of the deceased surfaced yesterday in the same place where he drowned, he said.
Badh Dhar, son of Khokon Dhar, hailing from North Dhurang Banik Para in the upazila, drowned Saturday morning when he was swimming with two friends.
