Roadside structures demolished
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) yesterday demolished around 250 illegal structures constructed on footpaths and roads at Mirpur section 13 and 15.
The drive started at 12:00 noon for three hours.
The structures were constructed illegally blocking footpaths and roads, said Sheikh Kamal Hossain, executive magistrate, who led the drive..
The authorities concerned were given a 24-hour ultimatum by the LGRD and cooperatives ministry to remove all roadside illegal structures.
