College student dies after falling from SBMCH's balcony
A college student died after falling from a balcony of Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH) yesterday.
The victim was Mainul Huq, 23, a student at Kobi Nazrul College Dhaka, and son of late Moslem Mia of Madarkathi village in Banaripara upazila in Barisal.
Dr Ranjit Das, a medical officer at the SBMCH, said Mainul received serious injuries in his head after falling down from the hospital's balcony at second floor around 4:00pm.
Enamul Islam, a relative of the victim, said Mainul was affected by abdominal pain at his sister's house in the Barisal city's Battala Road area, and admitted to the hospital early yesterday.
