Girder Collapse
Probe report submitted
The probe committee formed on Bahadderhat flyover girder collapse submitted its report yesterday to Chittagong Development Authority (CDA).
Kazi Hasan Bin Shams, member secretary of the body, said they found lack of skills in work and proper supporting system for which the girder collapsed.
CDA Chairman Abdus Salam told The Daily Star that he did not see the report till last night.
The concrete girder of under-construction the flyover in Chittagong collapsed on June 29. It was 42 metres in length and two-and-half metres in height.
