Power outage for 8 hours in Ctg
Dwellers in different areas including Madarbari in Chittagong city faced power outage for eight hours yesterday.
Sources at Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Chittagong said people faced the problem as they have carried out maintenance works of power supply lines in the area.
Md Moniruzzaman, public relation officer at the BPDB, said they published advertisement in newspapers informing that supply of electricity would be suspended from 8:00am to 4:00pm in the area.
Moniruzzaman said maintenance works would be conducted in Pahartali and Kalurghat area today. So, supply of power would remain stopped from 8:00am to 4:00pm in the area, he added.
