Supershop fined in Ctg
A mobile court fined a supershop Tk 1 lakh and 5 thousand in Chittagong city yesterday.
The court led by Joynal Abdin, executive magistrate of Chittagong City Corporation, conducted a drive at the supershop named Meena Bazar in the city's East Sholoshahar area and fined the shop for selling rotten fruits and not mentioning expiry and manufacturing dates of food items and other products.
It also seized defective products, including rotten grapes, packed shrimps and a toy set.
