Health sector procurement system goes online
The health ministry yesterday entered into online procurement system following submission of procurement plan by its line directors (LDs) through its web portal.
A total of 15 line directors (LDs) under the ministry submitted their procurement plan using the ministry's Supply Chain Management Portal (SCMP), a web based portal that facilitate the line directors to prepare their procurement plan for 2012-13 and 2013-14 fiscals.
The 15 line directors out of 32 of the ministry and other directorates and departments submitted their procurement plan at a workshop in the MIS Conference Room at Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) at Mohakhali in the city.
