Dockyard worker killed in Keraniganj
A dockyard worker was killed as one of his co-workers hit him with a stick over a past feud in Par Gandaria area in Keraniganj on the outskirts of the capital yesterday.
The victim was Mohammad Rajib, 19.
Quoting Rajib's co-workers, Mohammad Rasel, a cousin of the victim, said Billal Hossain hit on his [Rajib] head with a stick following an altercation at boat ghat in the area.
Rajib was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 6:30am.
Police said they were trying to arrest Billal. They, however, could not say about the feud immediately.
