Paint factory gutted, 3 hurt
A fire gutted a paint factory in the capital's Kamrangirchar area yesterday.
Three people were injured while trying to douse the flame.
The injured Alamgir Hossain, 42, the factory owner, his relatives Md Mamun, 23, and Md Hasan, 24, were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Alamgir said the fire might have originated from an electric short circuit when the factory, Toka Paint, remained closed around 1:30pm.
Two units of fire fighters doused the fire in about one hour.
