Housewife killed by 'in-laws'
A housewife was killed and a rickshaw puller was found dead in Sirajganj on Thursday night.
Salma Khatun, 25, wife of Wasim Uddin of Barabashuria village in Shahzadpur upazila, was allegedly strangled by her mother-in-law and other family members as the victim rebuke her daughter for not being attentive to study, police said.
Shahzadpur police recovered the body yesterday and sent it to Sirajganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed.
Meanwhile, rickshaw puller Ershad Ali, 19, of Ekdala Mahalla in Sirajganj municipal area, was found dead in Kazipur intersection area in Sirajganj sadar.
Police sent the body to the hospital morgue.
