Today is the third death anniversary of Shamsul Alam, former chief executive of Burmah Eastern Ltd and Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. Food will be distributed at orphanages and among poor people today. There was a month long Qurankhwani seeking divine blessings for his soul. Relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to pray for the departed soul.
