Youth found killed in Keraniganj
The body of a youth was recovered in Keraniganj area on the outskirts of the capital yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Sagor, 22, hailing from Daudkandi in Comilla district and a resident of Dakkhin Keraniganj.
On information, police recovered the body, bearing stab wounds in the throat and chest, from an abandoned plot enclosed by wall at Jinjira around 11:00am.
Sagor's mother Milon Begum said her son left their house on Friday morning and since then she had not seen him.
Keraniganj Police Station Sub-Inspector Mintu Mollah said the body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue for autopsy.
Police suspect that the killing took place early morning yesterday.
