Youth killed, another hurt as train runs them over
A college student was killed and his friend injured as a train ran them over near Rohonpur Railway Station in Chapainawabganj on Monday evening.
The deceased identified as Abdur Rakib, 19, son of Imarat Ali of Shibnagar village in Gomostapur upazila in the district, was an HSC student of Yousuf Ali College in the upazila.
The injured Kawsar Ali, 18, of Teghoria village in the same upazila, was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Rakib died on his way to the hospital at about 7:00pm.
