Body of missing CNG-driver recovered in Ctg

The decomposed body of a CNG-run auto rickshaw driver, who went missing on September 4, was recovered from a hill near to Chittagong University (CU) campus yesterday. The victim Mohammad Akter Hossain, 26, went missing from No 1 Gate area of CU on that day. Earlier on Tuesday and early yesterday, police arrested four young men on charge of their alleged involvement in the murder. The arrestees are Md Alam, Md Azam, Md Sayeed Hasan Rakib and Md Abu Naser. Following the arrestees' confessional statements, the body was recovered from the hill located about two kilometres behind CU Central Students' Union (CUCSU) building, police said. On September 15, Akter's brother Rafique filed an abduction case with Hathazari Police Station.
