Thousands of years of civilisation, innumerable moral lessons of different religious scriptures, world-wide campaign for human rights and dignity, constant claims of communal harmony existing in the country by all and sundry, all these things got washed away by the mayhem claimed to be perpetrated by a few miscreants. Hooligans exist in all major parties and religions. So the blame lies with the individuals who took part in these criminal act. Police should properly investigate to identify the real culprits. Until now, zealots in Bangladesh have kept relatively quiet. But it didn't take long for this mob mentality to kick in. Now they've tried to show the world that the Muslims are intolerant.
