Man dies as train runs him over
A man was killed as a train ran him over in the capital's Moghbazar area yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Md Abbas, 30, a car driver.
Kamalapur Railway Police Station Assistant Sub-Inspector Mizanur Rahman, quoting locals, said the Kamalapur-bound train ran Abbas over at wireless railway level crossing at about 7:30am, leaving him dead.
Abbas was going to Wireless Gate from his Gabtola residence in the area, the ASI added.
