One kills wife in Netrakona
A house wife was killed by her husband at Koilati village under Kalmakanda upazila in Netrakona yesterday
The deceased was identified as Parvin Akther, 30, wife of Azizul Haque of the village.
Goolok Chandra Boshak, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kalmakanda Police Station, said the couple had been altercating over a family feud for a long time.
They had a heated exchange of words over the issue yesterday noon and, at one stage, Azizul hit Parvin with an ax, leaving her spot dead, the OC said.
A case was filed with Kalmakanda Police Station and Azizul was arrested in this connection.
Police sent the body to Netrakona Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
