Obituary
Mia Abdul Halim Miraj, a freedom fighter of Magura, died of cardiac arrest at Magura Sadar Hospital at about 9:00pm on Thursday. He was 67. He left behind his son, one daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death. Miraj, member of Magura Town Hall Club's executive committee, was deputy commander of Magura district unit Muktijoddha Sangsad. He was buried with state honour in his Tupipara village home graveyard of Sreepur upazila after Juma prayers yesterday following two namaz-e-janazas at Doarpara mosque in Magura town and his village home.
