New DFID country chief arrives
Sarah Cooke arrived in Dhaka yesterday to take up her role as country representative of DFID, the UK government's aid programme in Bangladesh, says a British High Commission press release. On her arrival, she said, “The UK government is committed to Bangladesh's development and ambition of achieving middle income status within the next decade."
