Death anniversary
Today is the 27th death anniversary of Amin Ahmed Chowdhury, assistant editor of now defunct the Bangladesh Times and former Dhaka correspondent of Voice of America World Service.
A doa mahfil will be held at his village home at Ronokeli in Golapganj upazila of Sylhet while feeding of destitute will take place at his residence in Dhaka..
Amin, also former correspondent of The Guardian, died on October 9, 1985.
