Four Rohingyas held in Ctg
Police arrested four Rohingya people in Chandanaish upazila of Chittagong yesterday.
The arrestees identified as Md Tofael, 21, Md Younus Mia, Md Arif, 30, and Din Mohammed, 25, are the residents Buridong village in Akiab district of Myanmar.
A team from Chandanaish Police Station arrested them in Badamtal at about 1:00pm as they had been suspiciously moving around the area since yesterday morning, said Sub-Inspector Amirul Hossain.
When interrogated, they admitted that they intruded into Bangladesh from Myanmar around a week ago and were looking for jobs, added Amirul.
