Man dies from electrocution
A man died from electrocution in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong district yesterday afternoon.
The deceased Narayan Pal, 42, son of Nepal Pal, of Moheshkhali in Cox's Bazar, was living in Banglabazar area of Sitakunda in Chittagong.
Quoting the victim's family members, Abdur Rahman, constable of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost, said Narayan was electrocuted while he was connecting a television plug to a socket at about 3:00pm.
He was rushed to the CMCH where the on-duty doctor declared him dead, said the police.
