One held with Yaba tablets
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a man with 9,850 pieces of Yaba tablets from Leda canal area of Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar on Monday evening.
Mohammed Hossain, 28, son of Ali Ahmed, of Rangikhali in the upazila, brought the Yaba from Myanmar in an engine boat crossing the Naf River, said BGB sources.
On a tip-off, a patrol team from BGB 42 battalion arrested Hossain from the area when he disembarked from the boat, said Lt Col Zahid Hasan.
