Campaign against stunting starts
Bangladesh has made a remarkable progress in health sector and poverty reduction but nutrition, especially for children under the age of two, has not improved at the desired rate, speakers said at a campaign launching programme.
The launching ceremony of “Communication Campaign for Reducing Stunting through Infant Young Child Feeding plus Handwashing” was held at a hotel in the capital on October 22.
The campaign is an initiative of Alive and Thrive.
