Dhaka Ahsania Mission gets ISESCO literacy prize
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the ISESCO Prize for Literacy-2012 to Dhaka Ahsania Mission on Wednesday for its outstanding contribution in the field of literacy.
Morocco-based ISESCO (Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation) awarded DAM the prize and handed it over to the minister earlier in Saudi Arabia, said a press release of DAM.
The prize giving ceremony was held in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology auditorium in the capital's Tejgaon.
