Muktijuddho Projonmo Council urges govt to stop graft
The government must take effective measures to stop corruption and indiscipline that lead to the suppression and persecution of citizens in the country, said Shahidul Islam Kabir, chairperson of Muktijuddho Projonmo Council, yesterday.
Extortion, rather than services, can be found in each sector, whether it is employment, house rent or transport policies, he said in a press statement acknowledging a survey report by Transparency International Bangladesh on corruption.
