Two killed in road crashes
Two people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Gaibandha and Jessore yesterday.
Our Gaibandha correspondent reports, a man was killed and three others injured when a truck hit a tractor trolley in Kismat Haldia of Gaibandha yesterday afternoon.
The dead, Habibur Rahman, 25, was the helper of the tractor driver.
Our Benapole correspondent reports, a farmer was killed when a bus hit him on Satkhira-Benapole highway in Sharsha upazila of Jessore while crossing the road around 7:00pm yesterday.
Victim, Atiar Rahman, 42, hailed from the upazila. Locals blocked the highway for two hours in protest.
