Two killed, 22 injured in road accidents
A man was killed and 20 others were injured as their bus fell into a pond at Khalisha in Kolaroa of Satkhira yesterday morning.
The dead is Asaduzzaman, 35, of Kolaroa.
The accident occurred when the driver lost his control over the Jessore-bound bus on Satkhira-Jessore highway and fell into the roadside pond.
The injured were admitted to Kolaroa Health Complex and Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
Our Manikganj correspondent reports, a mechanic was killed and two others were injured as a bus hit their motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Tora village in Manikganj around 11:00am yesterday.
The dead is Mintu Mia, 30, of the village.
