Man kills wife in Netrakona
A woman was allegedly killed by her husband in Magharkanda village of Netrakona on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Mina Begum, 35, wife of Abu Lass Mia.
According to police and locals, Abu Lass Mia's family of five was poverty stricken and on Thursday night there was no food in their house.
Husband and wife quarrelled regarding this issue and Abu hit his wife with a sharp weapon, leaving her dead instantly, they said.
On information, police recovered the body yesterday and arrested Abu.
A murder case was filed.
