Rabindra Sangeet Sammilon Parishad conference begins
A two-day biannual district conference of Jatiya Rabindra Sangeet Sammilon Parishad began in Barisal city yesterday.
Prof Nurul Anwar, a teacher and researcher of Tagore's songs, inaugurated the programme by hoisting national and organisational flag in front of Aswani Kumar Hall.
A Rabindra song competition judged by Prof Anwar and other prominent Rabindra song teachers, and singers was also held at Barisal NGO Development Network.
The second session of the first day's programme held at Ashwini Kumar Hall, was inaugurated by Nikhil Sen, a cultural personality.
