Construction worker dies in Ctg
A construction worker was killed at his workplace at Bakalia in Chittagong city yesterday.
The deceased was Ripon Islam, 18, son of Abdul Barek of Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh.
Ripon was critically injured when an iron pipe fell on him during piling of an under-construction building in Kalpolok residential area of Bakalia around 2:00pm, said Jahidul Alam, a constable of CMCH police camp.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where duty doctors declared him dead around 3:00pm.
