BSF picks up Bangladeshi
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi citizen from Darbi border in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon on Thursday afternoon on charge of illegally entering India.
The detained was Moshiur Rahman, 35, hailing from Bujrukh village of the upazila.
Kazi Alamgir, operation officer of 30 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion, said BGB and its Indian counterpart held a company commander level flag meeting over the issue yesterday.
He said BSF told them that they handed Moshiur over to Indian police of Gowalpukur Police Station on charge of illegal intrusion.
