7,400 Yaba pills seized, 3 held
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized 7,400 Yaba tablets and a minibus and arrested three people in this regard on Cox's Bazaar-Teknaf Road in Chainda area of Cox's Bazar district yesterday afternoon.
The arrestees were Mohosin Ali, 22, Goda Miah, 35, and Saddam Hossain, 19, of Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar district, said a press release.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from Rab-7 arrested them with the Yaba worth around Tk 29,60,000 and seized the minibus on which they were carrying the contraband drug in the area at around 2:00pm.
